Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans is excited to share our story with the rest of the world. Seetheproof.org highlights the progress being made and the lives being changed since Gulf hurricanes devastated the area. While it is tempting to rely on sheer numbers to demonstrate the magnitude of our work, we feel that the voices of our people paint the most compelling picture of our ministries.

Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans

Prior to Hurricane Katrina, Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans operated more than 30 programs addressing such issues as hunger, poverty, unemployment, domestic violence, education and the needs of the mentally ill, low-income seniors and at-risk children. In addition to many we served before, today our 48 programs serve those whose lives have been changed forever by that hurricane and others.
