For the price of a first class, roundtrip plane ticket from New York To Los Angeles, your $2,500 can sponsor an AmeriCorps member who works full-time for ten months providing thousands of hours of community service and immeasurable goodwill.

From August 29, 2005 through Fiscal 2007, Catholic Charities of New Orleans Has:
- Gutted 1,925 homes
- Rebuilt 113 homes
- Begun developing 1,795 homes in conjunction with our partners
- Supported those in need with $10,469,127 in direct assistance
- Provided housing with health care and support services to 4,198 individuals with special needs
- Supplied 156,489,689 pounds of food to the hungry and agencies that feed the hungry across the New Orleans metro region and Louisiana.
- Provided 61,715,858 meals to the hungry
- Provided crisis intervention and counseling to 852,608 individuals
- Provided clinical counseling to 6,491 individuals
- Provided counseling in Catholic schools to 4,787 children, parents and faculty
